Note From the Director

Institutional Research and Planning provides information and analysis about the College and its students. Whether you are seeking information for College planning, advising students, grant-writing; or if you are just interested in getting to know the College better, we hope you find what you want. Be sure to let us know how we might serve you better.

Please note: All planned research projects within the College and by College employees involving Human Subjects must be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) prior to implementation.

Goals
  • To ensure quality with regards to reporting institutional data
  • To coordinate and conduct research to meet institutional needs and fulfill the institutional mission
  • To facilitate and archive assessments of student learning
  • To be user-friendly

Functions and Responsibilities
  • Conduct research analysis for the purpose of improving instructional programs and student success, and of supporting administrative decisions.
  • Provide leadership in assessment of the college's performance, including assessment of student outcomes and performance, programs, and other areas of concern to the College and the State of Oklahoma.
  • Act as an information resource for the college, its personnel, and its various constituencies.
  • Serve as a consultant for the college and its personnel in matters of research.
  • Serve in an advisory capacity to the conference center and campus administrators, faculty, staff, and committees in matters of information and research.
  • Conduct such special research and analysis projects as are needed for the good of the college, its personnel, and its public.
  • Perform other services as assigned by the President or the President's designate.
