Dear Faculty:
It is time to begin thinking about the assessment of your discipline or program goals. Choose one goal and assess it in your classroom using whatever assessment tool you think appropriate. Report your findings on the Assessment Wizard on the Institutional Research web site. Assessments are due by the time that grades are filed at the end of the semester. The Wizard is operable for your use at any time until then. It is the responsibility of all faculty to participate in the assessment of discipline and program goals. Your goals are listed on the Assessment Wizard for your reference. If you need assistance accessing the Wizard, please call the Institutional Research Office at x7925. If you need help in devising an assessment tool or rubric, please call on your colleagues or Cherie Hughes at x7129.
